When We Meet
To get a glimpse of what CBC is really all about, we’d encourage you to personally check us out. For any of our regular gatherings, we meet at 405 Lincoln Ave, Lockport, NY.
Sunday Morning
Sunday at CBC begins with our Sunday School program for people of every age.
Everyone, beginning with the little ones to the more grown ups, has the opportunity to dig deeper into the Word of God. After Sunday School our main gathering takes place, and it includes a time of worship through singing, prayer, Scripture reading, and learning from the Bible. Children between 4 and 8 years old also have their own service (Children’s Church).
- 9:45am — Sunday School for all Ages (Nursery Provided).
- 11:00 am — Morning Worship (Nursery Provided), Children’s church
Sunday Evening
Every last Sunday of the month we meet as a church family, in homes, in order to sing, pray, study the Bible, and cultivate life-giving relationships that honor our Lord Jesus Christ. Please, make sure to pay attention to the announcements on Sunday morning to find out the locations for these meetings.

Mid-Week
On Wednesdays we have different programs for children and teens. We also get together to study more of the Bible and pray for one another as well as our community.

What to Expect
Our church family is comprised of young and old with a mixture of many ethnic backgrounds. A variety of classes are offered for children and adults during our services. On Sunday morning a typical service will last about 75 minutes. Normally there is childcare available for all of our services.
What should I bring?
Bring a Bible if you have one. All of our sermons come right out of the Bible. If you don’t have a Bible, we have copies available in the seats. Please, take one with you so that you can read it at home. It is our gift to you!
What should I wear?
We are a “come as you are” style church. This means you can feel comfortable wearing whatever you would wear to a friend’s house. But if it is of any help to you, most people tend to dress business-casual. There are some who prefer ties. Others prefer blue jeans.
What’s your approach to worship and preaching?
Our music consists of a blend between traditional and modern hymns as well as other worship songs and we use a variety of instruments. We aim to sing songs that turn us toward God, are full of theological truth, and exalt Jesus Christ.
Here at CBC we emphasize expository preaching, which simply means that we study a book of the Bible from beginning to end by examining the original meaning of the text and how it applies to our lives today. This, of course, does not mean that we never look at topics found in Scripture. There are times when we also look at certain themes and doctrines we believe the Bible teaches.
